Celebrating the good days - Part 2 | Arthritis Information

Alright............so I DID NOT pay for my busy day yesterday.

I've felt really well today.............................

Until I got to work and got SLAMMED busy with arrivals. My knee started screaming at me, so I sat down immediately. That helped a lot. Then I forced myself to not worry about it. I just hooked onto how great yesterday was and tried to run with it.

I can honestly say, for a good 4 hours or so, I forgot about my knee.

So I would honestly consider this day 2 of "woohoo" feeling. The knee pain was brought on by moving back and forth at the desk so much, so fast. And it's my bad knee ANYWAY so even out of a flare and in full remission I WILL still have pains in it.

So scratch that off, and look at everything else and this is most certianly day two.

Tonight I AM cooking, but it's an easy dish. The foreman grill will do all my work for me. Hehe.

So here's an e-toast (haha, get it?) to everyone that soon this - whatever it is - will come your way!!!! I am seriously hoping it will. I don't know what bug bit me but it rocks and I can only wish and beg so much that it'll bite you!!

*hugs* Love you all!!!!

Glad to hear you did not have to pay for yesterday.

Groovy!!!  We need a part three and four ect., ect., ect..  This is the kind of story we want to keep hearing.Hey I made a post about my "good day(s)" LMAO!! But I guess mine is not really considered "good days", because I am on a high dose of pred... so mine are fake good days LMAO!!!

No really... I am happy, Katie is having some good days.YAY for your good days Katie, Its nice to have the good ones, makes you feel like wonder woman again. My day is good too, we have been to the garden centre and I brought a minature orange tree for my conservatory. Its mothers day here tomorrow so we are going to the coast for lunch .Nice to hear you are doing well.  Sounds like you need this ice pack thingy they gave me for my knee.
Really cool to take with you.  It's attached to what looks like a big thermous. (sp?).  You put water and ice in it the put the little silver thing on the ice and water.  Kinda looks like foil then the lid.  hook your ice pack to it with a tube.  lift it so the ice cold water goes into the pad.  unhook it and velcro it around your knee.  Then when it gets warm you hook it back up drain the warm water back in shake and re-fill it with ice cold water.  And it last for at least 8 hours that I know of.
It's great that you are feeling so great! It is also good for others to hear when people are having good days. Keeps spirits up.

I am having a pretty good day too. Well, not a fun day since I am doing housework-but good pain wise.
