OK, I figure we start with Wiki!  LOL

I was reading Cordelia's post to Thela and thought I'd try to start another science thread.  Anybody see what I see when I look at this?

Alright Pip. I am interested but tired. What you got here? I honestly need to hire someone to do my thinking and research for these days. Seriously what you seeing because seriously i am tired so tell me what i am looking for and i will take a look.you see something that of course proves your point that auto immune diseases are actually an infection.  But shoot Pip...you see that in everything you post..LOL Buckeye - that I do.  One day we're going to have to do lunch!

Milly - (and all) my question is simple.  What are we developing antibodies and antigens to?  Why do most people have RF's and CCP's that are going up?  That would indicate a current infection by the explanation in the links.  But...we don't have infections.  Instead they say our bodies went haywire and started attacking itself.

On AI, I've only seen one person post their numbers came down on their meds.  But AP people post that all the time.  That's how we know we got 'remission'.  So, we watch that like a hawk.

Why the difference?

Pip
Well AI falls under the catagory of very interesting. Becuse it is really haywire and not very well treated and understood. I am trying to hang in there for the vacine. Thats my plan. They are just starting to recognise some AI diseases. They just keep finding more antibodies all the time it seems. AI disease i think is a domino effect. Maybe a mutating antibody. Like they say allergies is a sign of a low immune system. I am really better wired to produce snot then the majority of the human race. So if i am better at that then I feel that i just have a more confused immune system rather then an actual lower immune system. My body sees more things as a danger then the majority. My body does not like medicine or any pollen or chemicals and it seems it does not like many of my body parts. So to me that sounds pretty active. I do know i have no immunity to strep and that is heriditary. My kids my granddad and his dad had no immunity to strep. So i have always ran for the antibiotics as i did not want ruematic fever like my granddad and his dad had gotten. All of the heartattacks where not appealing to me. So i don't know about others with AI maybe they are genetically missing a link in the immune system as i am?
