No, I actually have a lot of respect for you. I felt bad when I went
off the rails on you on the immigration thread, and for that I am truly
and deeply sorry. While I meant a lot of the things I said about how
you debate, such as going after the credibility of the person rather
than debating the facts they present, there was no need to throw that
at you in such a nasty manner. It was wrong of me.
I actually believe there must be a constant tug of war between the
conservative and liberal viewpoints in order to maintain a balanced
society, but that that tug of war must be based of fact as much as
possible, rather than propaganda, so I get really upset when I see
people who believe things that are totally untrue. However, I probably
"know" things that aren't true too.
Anyway, I actually think you're a good person, so again I am so sorry for how I treated you last week.
Now that I've wriiten this I think I will post it on the forum. I don't
think it's right to berate someone publically and then only apologise
in private.
PS...I also think you're well informed on many issues.
