OT: How to Find A Missing Remote? | Arthritis Information
I would like to know just how you go about finding an MIA remote?
I had the remote to hubby's TV last night. Son took it in to my room. I brought it back out and went to hand it to hubby and he told me to put it on the couch. I put it on the couch and then 20 mins later it came up MIA. Son says he did not touch it this time. And if son did touch it, he would have found it today when he wanted to watch cartoons, instead of complain that the remote was missing.
Hubby is home and laying in the floor sleeping and every time I wake him up, he yells "Find my REMOTE!!"
So... me & MIL turned the living room upside down this afternoon looking for the remote and could not find it.
Now how do you find a missing remote?
Do you call it like a dog? "Here boy *whistles* Com'on!! Here Boy!"
Do you hire a PI? I think Magnum PI needs some work throwed his way.
Do you send out a blood hound? I think my cat will apply for the job.
They make really big ones that are easier to find. Thats all i got. Sorry.
Oh I have seen one of those first hand! My mom has one. My sister & niece got her one for her b-day last year, because my mom kept loosing her small one in the couch. SO... this one can fit down the side of the couch and not get lost
I really think my daughter has hid it some where. That is what happened to it the last time it came up missing. She took it to her room, so no one would change the channel on her. She is gone to church right now, but be rest asured when she comes in the door I will be on her like white on rice in a snow storm. Just so I can stop hearing her daddy yell "Where is my BLEEPING Remote!?"

It has been FOUND!! After hubby got his good ole mid evening nap in the middle of the living room floor, and me bothering him to wake up. He found it. It was hidden behind the TV way to the back. Which I have a feeling it was daughter who hid it there, because when I asked her where the remote was she got the "deer in the headlights" look, and then said she did not know. Which is usually when she lies about something. She is not a very good liar. Oh and she kept trying to make me go to my room, which also makes me think she did not want me to see her get it, and she could not get it with me in the living room.
It is all a conspiracy, I tell ya, ALL A CONSPIRACY!! I have been around daughter too long, she thinks everything is a conspiracy.
I was really hoping to bring Monk in on the action, but he would have solved it in like 2 seconds, it would have been a waste of his time.
One good thing that came out of it all, is that I vacuumed and cleaned up the living room. I vacuumed the living room floor for 30 mins. Hubby was beginning to get annoyed with me because I would not stop vacuuming. But that is what happens when I start on something, I have to do it RIGHT. No half assed, like hubby. I did take breaks, but only because my legs were shaking uncontrollably and I did not want to fall.
Oh and no Rozerem tonight. Maybe tomorrow night. It says make sure to take when you know you can get 7-8hrs of uninterrupted sleep, and well I have to be up by 6am and will not be back to sleep until after 7am. So it is out of the question.
