Alright i am up on my soapbox. Well it's my day off and i called docs and RD yesterday. Nurse never called back so i called a secound time to make sure they had the right phone number. They said they are working on it and the nurse will call. Wonder what they are working on my appiontment was Jan 15th. It's the first time I ever called them to say i was swollen so they can not say i am a nuisence. Alright i had quit swelling for a whole month and a half. I was to sick to get much enjoyment out of that time. The RD was already to put me on meds but saw how sick i had been along with my allergies and suddenly he said maybe you don't have RA yet you arn't swollen. I said are you kidding my shines were even swollen and lumpy and i couldn't leave the house in months. Alright he says but you are responding to pred. Well after four months i was responding to pred. Had the allergic reaction to the Arava and had taken my secound high dose of pred and had been on pred for the entire time. Then i said well my major complaint for that particular day was fatigue. I mean i have my positive RF. I have an anti-ccp of 100. My left ankle has been swelling for ten years and my shoulder for fifteen ect., ect., Just now it is both ankles. Alright i had a ganglion cyst once in my left foot. So they left it alone and said it would go away on it's own eventually. So when my ankle swelled they did an ultra sound and said it's just fluid. I went to a foot doctor when i could not walk. Said they had done several ultra sounds and blah, blah, blah. He said the swelling was not causing the foot drop and the other problems i was having with my foot it was more nuerologically and probably fibro. Well i mean eventually the cyst burst and went away. The swelling in my ankle would come and go. As would the swelling in my hands , knees, spine shoulders. Anyway it was then decided maybe i had phlabitis in my ankle maybe? Anyway i have so many joints that swell for so many rediculas reasons, so when i was told that my kness were swollen because the swelling was coming from my back, I challenged my ortho surgen to then check out my shoulder as it must have a stranger problem than other joint. It did he said it was RA It had fluid in it some scar tissue but nothing he could fix. He was sure it was RA and that was eight years ago. But years before that i had gotten shots in it from a different ortho as to say it wasn't a new problem then. Mostly todays issue was i wanted to go ahead and do my hair instead of spending a secound day waiting by the phone. I wanted to go to the grociery and pick up meds at the same time. Gas is kind of pricey these days. Now i have a new problem. Sons girl and her daughter where at the store. As luck would have it I can not even have my potasium today or my soda. Poor me , poor me. Actually i just have to have it purchased from another store. They did an emergency evac and the store is being blocked off by the police. I don't know why? We have the tv turned on and are waiting to hear what is going on. She said the guy over the loud speaker sounded genually frightened. And she had just paid for her things and they wanted her to leave the store with out her food. She said they had just rang up mine and she was getting ready to swipe my credit card when they were told to leave immediately. Scary and she had her daughter with her so even scarier. She called me from the parking lot and said turn on the news we will be home in a minute. Well there have been alot of people gone wild and shooting places up lately. We wonder if it is a robbery in progress or a hostage situation or a bomb threat. We ruled out bioterriorism and disease because she was able to leave with her groceries as long as she got the heck out of the store immediately. She said they were like fine lady just get out, get out. And she said she didn't place her grocery in the car she through them in. So maybe it is a good thing i did not get my meds called in yet. I would have been at the pharmacy and who knows that may be the part of the store where the problem is. Maybe they saved my life by not being on the ball. So now if they call i will not answer the phone because a bad storm is coming and 60 mile an hour winds and lightening. So i don't feel like taking any chances talking on the phone in lightening. See ya i am signing off to watch the news. I had more to say but oh well. LOL somethings are more important then me being angry with people.Boy, Milly. Today is just not your day, huh? Hope tomorrow is better.
