Alright i asked before i came to Florida was this going to be a problem. No go we don't blame you for not wanting to be alone. Went ahead and waited to see the RD before i left. Got the blood work done. Well they wait two days and call and say scince i am in Florida all i get is pred. Actually the pred i had when i came here. I take a larger dose and taper down till i have none left. Scince I am in Florida. As in i would other wise get some other treatment. As far as they know i am on vacation. So what you are not supposed to go on vacation if you have RA? They could of just said from the get go you need to get a new doctor right away. Why waste my time? Why wait untill i am swelling to tell me there is a problem? Oh whatever. At the moment i just don't care anymore. But tomorrow I am going to raise a stink. Oh and get this my gp's office said they won't call anything in because they do not know what meds i am getting from the specialist. I said i am not getiing any meds from the specialist and they know that. So whats up?Not sure, Milly, not sure what is up with that. Maybe if you go to a GP out there and explain the situation, they can give you something to help with the swelling. I mean... a NSAID would probably help with the swelling some until you get into a RD.
