Hey folks!  Here to give you guys an update on Liz.   She had gone to the ER Tuesday night and was admited into the hospital due to being unable to control her pain.  They gave her a steroid IV and duladin (sp?) while in the hospital and she is scheduled sometime next week to have her knee replaced.  She is home now, got home sometime this afternoon.   She is using a walker with front wheels while at home untill the surgery. She is on 40mgs of pred and oral duladin(sp? again lol)...As well as her other pain meds.

Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers while she is going through this....Its times like this I really wish I lived closer to her then I do.  While its only 1.5 hrs (well prolly less then that, it was mapquest) its a LONG 1.5 hrs......She might be calling me after 9 if she is awake otherwise I'm sure I'll talk to her tomorrow briefly online.
Thanks, Shannon. Katie has been keeping me updated, bless her and both Arielle and Lizzie sent an email today but best of all I just talked to Liz on the phone which was great. She sounds ready for what's going to happen with the op, high in spirits and her usual wonderful Lizzie self.  Thanks Shannon.  Man, she must really be suffereing.  Poor thing.  Please tell her she'll be in my prayers.

I was just wondering today how you are Shannon.  Everything ok?
Get feeling better soon Liz!!
She's got some osteopenia(sp) going on, so she's on supplements for that. She's also got a Vit. D deficiency. So she's on that too! Still waiting on blood work back,  they checked her thyroid levels (on me and pippy's request LOL)

She does sound really well, all things considered. They talked about her knee and did a CT scan and it's just shot, shot, shot. The ortho said it HAD to be done. Sooo she's pretty excited about that. :)
Tell Liz i miss her and that she is in my prayers.Hope she has a fast, safe surgery and speedy recovery. Thanks Katie for adding that...I *knew* I was forgetting something I just couldnt figure out what
