Traditional First nations RA remedy | Arthritis Information

I haven't tried this myself but it's said if you boil the needles of the Eastern White Pine Tree for 45 minutes and drink about 4 ounces of the resulting tea every day some people are able to control their RA that way. A friend of mine's Mother lives in northern Quebec and does that. She was taught it by a First nations healer. Also, on my first RD visit when I was DXed I asked about homeopathic remedies and my RD said some of them are helpful "like pine oil". I assumed I would be hearing more about pine oil when I researched, but I have hardly come across anything. I have seen references to Western White Pine used as medicine, so maybe I'll try it after I learn to identify that tree. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that in, in case we ever have no access to industrialised medication.
