David's working late, our bestest friend Carolyn is working the Cap One telethon tonight. So, I'm in charge of our three boxers, which is no small task, and Carolyn's three labs. Just me and the six. You know, a few dog fights, bloody fingers and a couple of pillows chewed up. I love holiday weekends! I just be typing with one hand for a few days.

Me too:0)

Love them soooo much!!  We have 2 sh*tzu/maltese, they are our babies.....way too spoiled.

I love boxers too, our friend has always had boxers and they are so beutiful, their faces are so expressive, it's like they have human expressions.

thanks Mike our pooches is a happy topic!

Hope your hand heals fast!

jooniper38597.7905208333I can credit at least half of my scrapes and bruises to my dogs - and that is a lot of scrapes and bruises

Love,
Sheila

We have 3 dogs and 3 ferrets.  One ferret has adrenal and insolinoma. He was our first ferret  and is 5 1/2 years old.

Three dogs, a golden named Sandy..my Christmas present in 1997, a beagle named Murphy aka Murphette..I bought her for my husband for Father's Day in 2004, and we just adopted a black german shepherd named Sam, real name Sam Mari. Sam is 9 months old and came from a lady who's mom had a stroke. Sam was kenneled for over a month, then the daughter took her and kept her in her cage in the garage with over 100 degree weather here
Here's some pics:

The white skinny ferret w/some hair loss is the sick one...he has some yellow on him. The other white one is Stu after Stuart Little   the  dark ferret is Annie the baby. She was born on my husband and my anniversary...she's a year old.

Darn, I do not have any pics to share of my puppies!  Artemis is my shy doberman, she was to runt out of a litter of 11.  She has the neighbors on both sides of us trained to give her treats.  She is also VERY afraid of thunder.  Kristy is our 15 year old gloden lab, she is a good old girl.  She will take treats from no one but us, she is head of security after all, and takes her job very seriously!  I am afraid she is begining to feel her age, but she is a trooper.

We also have 2 cats, Cleo and Tyger.  A rat named Lulu.  A beared dragon called Meatwad, lots of fish.  My babies are my sugar gliders, they are my nocturnal compainions.

Pets are bliss...do you own them? No way, I am happily owned by al of mine.

I just recently was introduced to those sugar gliders.  THEY ARE SO COOL!  I want a pair

My baby's name is Beaker (named after the Muppet!). He's nearly a year old
and he's a staffy cross kelpie. I love him to bitsies.

My hyper, crazy one....Katie

My protector (so he thinks) Duke...

A shy dobie!! Wow.  I have a min pin...not at all shy.  But also not smart enough to train the neighbors to give her treatsies either.

My dogs are obviously my children.  This is Tyler when he fell threw the ice at the lake last winter.  He almost drowned.

This is Chico Boy.  A day at the park

I noticed that a few of you have beagles and I was wondering if any of you have had a problem with cherry eye.  Our 10 month old little Shelby has it.  We have been putting the antibiotic drops in but no change.  The vet said if it wasn't back to normal in 7 days she will have to have surgery.  We have 2 choices, remove gland or have it sewn down.  Any suggestions? We are not sure which route to take.  Thanks,

Sha

Bless I love dogs! I don't actually have any but I have 2 cats instead. I especially love little dogs. Big dogs scare me! I haven't had very good experiences with big dogs. I had one chase me when I was little and then a few months ago I was at a friends house who is building on their house. There were big holes in the ground where the foundations where being laid. The dog jumped up at me and in the hole I went. My new tracksuit was covered in mud and I wasn't a happy bunny!

Okay...

Here are my 2 dogs...Monty (poodle) and Eddie

     Kelly and Lulu,

They are beautiful, I love them

Katie...

This one was the neighborhood watch dog, herman. Hubby said herman was like Shaft a bad Mother...lol. He was part rotweiler and part pit. We loved hermie, but he came up missing, I think he wondered off to far and got ran over trying to cross the 4 lane.

Your dogs are just looking at me and I am melting.

Roxy, I'm a sucker too.  I have picked up strays and tried to find them a home and like you, if I could they would come home with me.  I'd probably have to get divorced though.

Here's my my spoiled babies and

little truckers-these are last years xmas pictures. The first one is

Brewsky 5yr old Sheltie,

second one is JD 3 yr old Jack russell terrier,Sherry

They are so cute!

My dog Lucy is my baby, she's a 5 year old Border Collie and was bought for me to help keep me active after I had surgery on my knee in 2000.  It's great motivation and also a good way of monitoring how I feel, because I have to feel dreadful not to take her out.  I hadn't for weeks but I've managed four walks in a row with her this week, which is a record of recent times. I'm hoping it's the Enbrel finally kicking in :D

Right now she is chasing a marshmallow that is stuck on her tail after she performed her usual 'wrestling slam' on to it. She might be clever, but that doesn't mean she's not daft as a brush :P

Sherry,  I love your dogs.  "Lap dogs" always have me wrapped around their little paws.  Yours are adorable.

Moonie,  My dogs are definitely my barometer for how I feel.  I also love Border Collies.  I had two.  They are the smartest breed I think there is.  Thank God my dogs ran around all morning at Brett's mountain home.  This is a no walk kinda day
