What diet changes have made a difference for you? | Arthritis Information

I did a search and came up with what many studies suggest MIGHT make a difference but I'm curious what you have tried and seen a definitive difference with?  Have you increased or cut out certain foods and felt better or worse?  Studies are great but real life experiences mean a lot more!i found that a vegetarian diet with lots of oily fish (salmon steaks or tuna 4 times a week), no processed foods, no potatoes, no capsicum, no eggplant, no tomato, no onions and lots of cereal, vegies, fruits, nuts, and brown rice helps. My natropath helped me with it, and it helps alot with fatigue and energy. Of course, I drink too much coffee, dairy, and sugar, but I have to have something pleasurable, or I'll go crazy! I'm too new at this to be definitive, but I have found that we are creatures of habit. Take that, and that it's easier and cheaper to purchase food in quantity. So we eat the same thing over and over.

It's fairly easy to develop an allergic reaction as a result. It's happened to me and the problem went away not by abstaining forever, but by letting my body recover and limiting how much I had of it.
