I do not even recognise myself. My swelling on my face both sides now and it is to an inch above my eyebrows. It has not yet consumed my entire forehead. I bet it does by the time it is finished. I can not even find my colarbone. Joonie would you help me look for it. Call Monk!! Actually if he could find my face i would like that back also. I kind of liked my face it was pretty. Like why did i spend money to fix my hair so i could look like this? I have a minor bit of break thru pain but not so bad. I am keeping the pain pills in my system. I know my right eyebrow has a headache. I am on the taper down dose and took 20 mg of pred today. I do not think i will taper down any more tomorrow was supposed to go down to 15 mg. I thank God a have an RD appiontment tiomorrow and i also thank him for the pain pills that my gp called in for me because i would have been out by tomorrow. My fingers hurt a little bit also. So forgive typing errors can't remember how to spell either. My neck and shoulders look like they belong to the govenor of Calf. Wrist , knees lower back and ankles. Upper back of course. Ouch elbow. I am not scared like i was five months ago when i was swelling everywhere. Because i am not alone. Last time i was so alone my son was in texas and the rest of my family gone to say good by to grandpa. Except i never thought my biggest places of swelling would be my face and well the top of my thoratic spine. It is not tecnically my neck but it is so swelled I look like i have big muscles that goes up to my neck. I have a big knot under my armpit i believe is part of my shoulder blade. I never thought i would ever tell anyone again i swell everywhere as they always look at me like i am a lyer. But well i would think they will have to believe. As a large miricle would have to happen for this to all go away by tomorrow afternoon. I can breath perfectly well through my nose so it is not a sinus thing. I have no swelling inside my mouth so not a tooth thing. Not an allergie i can see pretty well my eyes are a little water from the swelling just in the bottom part of eye lids not the whole eye is watery hard to explain. But no discharge or crustyness like you would have with an allergie or an infection. I do have an ear ache on the left side but i almoat always do. Last trip to er doc said fliud in ear but was clear and probably not infected. And i always have that. I do have a bit of swelling in right arm pit not left. It is bigger than a golf ball and does not feel like a lymph node. To squishy to be a lymph node. Anyway my thoughts to all that wonder where can you swell anywhere. My thoughts as to when to take a pain pill. Well when i gat off teh board last night my lower back and feet and ischicle tuberosity and my face had begun to swell. I decided it was time to go back to two pain pills a day even if i was on an increase of pred. Well i did the dishes this evening. My sons girl has an impacted wisdom tooth and i wanted to be helpful. There is a dishwasher and i loaded it. She said you don't have to do that, I said i know but i want to do what i can while i can. I know she is miserable even if my face is bigger than hers. Last night the kids unloaded it and bob in his wheel chair loaded it. Then i loaded it a secound time. We are trying to pick up the slack around here so she can get some rest. Everyone all day said your face is swollen and they looked at me differently. Not like i am a freak but with concern and question. Not trying to scare any new comers i believe this is a bit of a horror story. I think i am somewhat unusal. I know bumbagump does this also and maybe Joonie i think. I am not a big big sweller thank goodness as i swell to many places i do not want to be a big big sweller thats for sure. I am sorry you are swelling so bad, Milly. I hope the swelling stays so the new RD can see it at your appointment tomorrow.
