What the who??? What happened to the board format?? It looks so...so generic!!

Is everyone still here or did they move?

Hey Gena, welcome back!  Some have moved on, but I think most of us are still here.Wow hey Gena! Long time no see! How are ya? Hola Gena! Glad to see you.

We've been missing you.  And there are so many people interested in diet and some of the things you had been posting about!  They've had no info so, please stick around!

We NEED you!

Pip

Bump....Gena, come back!Damn, we lost her AGAIN!  OK, I'm PMing her for the next time she logs in.
PipIf we keep bumping this thread to the top, at what point does it become internet stalking?Yeah!  LOL

OK, I PM'd her a link to the thread with a plea to stick around as she knows so much about a lot of the questions people post here.  Hopefully she'll start being more regular again.  I think she got caught in some of the BS from  6 months to a year ago.

OOPS....I forgot I posted and never checked back.  Sounds like you are still here living with the generic format.

I have not been on the boards at all. I was sick and tired of focusing on the disease. I have been solely focusing on HEALTH. Lots of exercise...I started spinning 2 times a week..I guess I would call it remedial spinning. I do yoga 2 times a week.  I recently purchased a Heart rate monitor and I am going to start using it today...to stay in my fat burning zone. Other then that it is just kids, driving, working!
OK, you lost me...generic format?

Odd, I'm focusing on health vs sickness...makes a HUGE difference in outlook, doesn't it.

I gotta ask - what's spinning?

Pip
spinning is one of those cycling classes...you get the spinning shoes and clip in. I got so sick of swimming and I needed more cardio exercise. I find that the more I move and stretch my body...the pain and inflammation go down.  It makes me feel stronger and less fragile.

This is a good attitude to have and one that I feel a few on this board need to rethink.

I fully understand being focused on the disease when new to it, and that is where the experienced should be able to step in with their guidance.
You know, I met a girl with Fibro when I was coming down with this and she said it took her 3 years but now she exercises regularly and it really cut her pain levels.  I never connected it to me and my disease.  I've been trying to make exercise more regular, but failing.  I think I'll try harder.
