_popupControl();Yuck. I've been having gross shoulder pains on the two front and back joints which is absolutely sucky and causing a lot of back pain, and causing me to have to sleep in weird positions. I'm also having trouble breathing (using my asthma puffer 7 times a day for a dry cough, usually I use it 4 times a year when the weather changes), so I did some yoga to try and release my sternum and back, and it didn't stop the pain or help my breathing. Does anyone know what could help? Lemon juice?
Paperdoll,

What meds are you taking?  I just started the injectible mtx. a few weeks ago and have been having dry cough.
Plaquenil and Prednisolone. I had breathing troubles and the coughing weeks before I got put on the meds, but taking 25-50mg of pred for a month stopped that completely (pred is taken in asthma too). I've had to taper down to 15mg of pred because I only have 5mg tablets, and I can't take 5 pills a day, coz I'll run out, and my breathing has begun to suck again. I'm too young to have lung troubles in regards to the RA, so I'm thinking it's just the odd positions I'm putting myself in!
_popupControl(); Hi guys, be very careful of coughs, dry or otherwise on MTX, get it checked, regards Janie. [QUOTE=paperdoll]_popupControl();Yuck. Paperdoll,

I'm an asthmatic and I'm sure you know this already but I'll type it anyway - - - using your rescue inhaler 7 times a day is WAY TOO MUCH!  It sounds to me like you need to be on a maintenance drug like a corticosteroid inhaler or maybe Singulair.

I also agree that you need to see your doctor and get this checked out.
