I am receiving SSDI at this time.  My question is what is the process that Social Security uses to see if you are still disabled?  Will I need to find another lawyer to help me with this process?

Thanks Sandra
you shouldn't need a lawyer for a reevaluation.  Generally they just need updated copies of your medical recordssocial security sends you to the doctors they choose.  usually the doctors are extremely handicapped themselves to make you feel guilty i think.  i got disability and one time they reviewed my case (they review your case every 7 years or so).   i was worse than ever so i did not think it would be a big deal.  i got a letter stating i was cured and could work.  i called my lawyer he sent a letter and magically i was disabled again.   i was never not disabled but without a lawyer they just spit you out of the system.  what we all need is alittle more stress in our lives ;-)i have been reviewed twice only once needed the lawyer to write a letter.  ?   hope that helps
