Hi

I have had AS for 10 Months and started humira 8 weeks ago. After the 3rd shot I started to get nervous system side effects. I got a loud ringing in the ears, tingling in hands and feet, got very fatigue, dizzy and very nauseous. Had to stop humira. Can any tell me if they got this side effect and will if ever go away.

Thanks I never got that side effect from humira.

It just did not work that well for me so I went back to Enbrel.
Hmmm, maybe that's why I have this loud ringing/roaring in my ear that I've been attributing to elevated blood pressure.I did my first inject 3 days ago and the only thing I've had is  a bit of a headache hanging about, other than that I can honestly say that I am feeling a difference for the better already. I hope it lasts.

LightworkerUK2008-09-02 10:32:53Hi Lynne, I don't have AS but I inject Humira every 10 days for RA and PsA and it's been great for me.  I'm in clinical remission.  I'm glad that you're noticing a change this early, that's good news.  LindyThanks LinB, I've found I'm sleeping a lot better too, I think it's because the pains not waking me up.

I was put on Humira and about month #3 of taking it, I started having tingling in the fingertips and hands.. Warmth redness as well.. Sometimes in the feet.. Month #6 Doc says I am allergic to it and it is causing Reynauld's Syndrome. You may want to look that one up... Not sure if that is exactly what it is, even though the doc says it is.... I do think it was the meds,, I am now on my 7th shot o enbrel.. and so far so good.. However,, I am having itching at times.... Kind of concerned!
