OT: Should Have Named Her Eeyore | Arthritis Information

Abi-Kitty decided she was going to sleep on my Eeyore collection on top of my jewlery box.

Well she has some main coon in her. I wonder what else. her color pattern is AMAZING. you gotta get a good "side" picture of her. And a good on of her tail! She is beautiful! Yes abi kittie is very pretty and colorful. Don't they all look so sweet when they are sleeping. The two cats have been messing with around four a.m. the past few nights. Well last night they did not or i slept through it, not sure. Three nights in a roll before that they did mess with me. I still love them but they have been extra mischievious lately?

Looks are deceiving.... Abi Kitty has some REAL attitude. She does not really like to be petted, she tries to get down. Only person she will let pet her is hubby. She is in love with my hubby. She meows when he leaves out the door, she will lay next to him in bed while he is sleeping, she will jump up in his lap and go to sleep. She was to be my cat, my little friend, but she went towards hubby. I guess because he would try not to have anything to do with her when we first got her, but he has grown to like her. He greets her first when he comes home from work, she mets him at the door, she knows when she hears someone step on the front porch that it is probably him and she will run to the door.

But yeah... she has some attitude. She likes to attack me. Not mean attack, but play attack. I cannot play with her too much because she draws blood and I am afraid I will get an infection from her scratching me and drawing blood. But if she would just let me pet her like she did when she was a baby, then I would be a happy camper.

Last night when I came to bed she was sleeping on my side of the bed with her head on my pillow and close to hubby. I picked her up and moved her to the end of the bed between hubby's feet. She did not like that so she gave me this look, and jumped down. Then a few mins later, I got up to get something to drink and noticed she was sleeping in the computer chair, so I stopped picked her up and held her and she let me pet her for a few mins before she decided she did not want me to hold & pet her anymore. Then I came back from the kitchen and she was back on my side of the bed asleep! I moved her again and this time she gave me this "go to hell" look... I am telling you... the cat gots attitude.

My mom has seen the cat have attitude, and so has my mom's friend too.
Yeah, I kept telling hubby she looked like she had a coon tail.

Here is a picture I took of her for daughter in january. Daughter had me print it out so she could show her teacher Abi Kitty.

Here is one of her from October, good side profile of her.

My daughter calls Abi Kitty's breed - calitabby. She will tell people Abi Kitty is a CaliTabby LOL!

Hey, that's not a bad name for it! I really wouldn't know what to call her. CaliTabby it is! Remember how small she was when we got her? She only weighed like 11oz. Now I think she is well over 5lbs. We only had her since September 14, 2007.

She also looks like she has the cheeta tear lines on her face. She is not a very good stalker LOL! But she sure can pounce and draw blood in a heartbeat.

That cat does have beautiful markings.

Your one story reminds me of mine.  We have cats.  Mr big bad daddy-o who says he doesn't like cats really grew to spoil ours.  But when the kitten was born he said we are finding it a home.  Not having four cats no way.

The kitten will cuddle him.  And he said last week, "looks like this is gonna be my cat".  Wonder if we get to keep her then?  He did say I had to give the dog back to my dad.  Hmmm the very next day after he told us that he went and bought a harness and a huge bag of dog food.  Dog is still here.  9 months later.  LMAO
You know Joonie my dog is the same as your cat in terms of liking my husband more! I got her to be my pet and she just loves him! She cuddles with him and never bites or growls at him....but me on the other hand!!! She will cuddle sometimes, especially when he isn't around but she is constantly playing with me and biting and growling. Not in a  mean way. Just playful. But I read somewhere that animals get more attached and calm around the males in the house because they have the more "dominant" alpha personality.
Which kind of makes sense I guess.
