My kitty, we've just learned, loves to snatch sparkely jewelry. Tonight I caught her red-handed (whatever that means) on the dining table with a huge, heavy necklace I never thought she could carry. How she got on my dresser, I do not know, but she was playing with it on the dining room table. Of course she has great taste and only goes for the expensive stuff. I haven't found her stash yet, but nobody vacuums til I do.

Hubby just told me he was in my craft room and the cat was on my table dropping beads and watching them hit the floor, then she'd chase them and climb up on the table and do it over and over.  I told him "see, I really do need one of those big floor standing jewelry chests...." For only being about 5lbs she is strong and can open drawers and sometimes doors. Oh my is she naughty. I keep her treats in my night stand and while I was gone she opened it and got the treats out and was wrestling the container with all 4 paws trying to pop  the lid.

I think thats one smart kitty.  I dont know about you, but my kitties have really been a source of comfort during the rough patches.  LaCat Burglar!!

I used to have a cat that liked to hide grapes in our shoes!! We'd have to check before we put them on, otherwise, SQUISH!!Ahhhhhh, how cute! I miss those days! I an remember when one of my kitties chewed up my wires to my computer when we lived in the little house. And Buzz used to play iou stack  little boxes, her fav was the one that you stack those little slices of wood...what is that called?!

And my Nibby, great dog, always wanting to crawl right into your body and LOVED lemonade! GReat memories......animals are so cute.

JEwelry is nothing compared to a lifetime of memories........now, if you if start getting a  bunch of cats hanging around and find traces of catnip....you need to have a talk with her....she may be selling your jewelry for catnip! (wink)(giggle)

jenga?
Yeah! It was th elittle  Jenga box, when she was a kitten she would go flippin and floppin through the little box.....then her kittens would do the same thing.

So darling! THe bead thing was probably A MESS!!!!
LOL! That is too cute! You should post a pic of her! *sigh* Ah, kitties!

Samus is notorious for stealing the treats and opening them. She can open *any* treat container. Oh, and she'll steal my empty soup-at-hands out of the trash and tear the label off. I have no idea why, and I don't think she knows either. LOL

She also tears pages out of magazines. She'll put one foot on the page, and then grab the corner with her mouth and puuullllll until it tears off. Haha And she just leaves it there! There's no motive! Oh, she also steals bottle caps! Omg there are probably a hundred bottle caps hidden all over this house. We cleaned out from under the dryer, and I think Justin said he stopped counting at 52. LOL It probably doesn't help that we give her some of them........*grin* I'm glad that I'm not the only one that lives with furry thieves.  Hobo is my right hand kitty when I'm making jewelry.  The only time he hops off the table is when I light up the torch.  He plays with beads and fittings for hours.  I also find his little treasure stashs all over.  All I have to do is rattle a container of beads and he comes running.  He's a joy.  Lindylol, that's too funny :)Katie, my baby does that too. On a Sunday when we sit with all the papers on the floor he loves us to put a couple of sheets over him and then he becomes a puppy and rips it to shreds.

My mum's cat, Suki had a thing for watches. Years ago before my dad passed away, he had 2 watches go missing. Over 8 years later my mum had her attic converted and they were found under the boards.

They do indeed bring much fun to the home. I wouldnt be without mine and cant wait till we get the new baby in  June... sorry to mention it again, I'm just so excited.
