I woke up yesterday with the worst and wierdest headache i have ever felt. its in the back on the left side all the way at the base of my head/almost my neck. its been hurtingn constantly its a dull pain but it hurts pretty bad. everyonce in awhile my whole left side of head hurt including face... one of my friends suggested sinuses which i guess is possible since i alway get sinus infection but this feels so different. im wondering if maybe it IS my neck hurting and not my head cause its very position dependent. i dunno.......... tylenol did not help im takng more though and sudafed in case it is sinuses. any suggestions im studying alllll day and its awfull! in other news cheeks still red, still sleeping extra and joints are not happy what else is new!!!If the headache continues, you should seek medical attention. It could be a migraine. In the meantime, I have always found that gel-type icepacks really help with headaches. Use an Ace bandage to fasten it to your head if necessary. Works wonders.
Could it be tension in you neck/shoulder? When I get a headache on one side of my head I can almost always trace it to a knots in my shoulder blade and at the base of my head.
