Hi all,
I noticed that a few of you have beagles and I was wondering if any of you have had a problem with cherry eye. Our 10 month old little Shelby has it. We have been putting the antibiotic drops in but no change. The vet said if it wasn't back to normal in 7 days she will have to have surgery. We have 2 choices, remove gland or have it sewn down. Any suggestions? We are not sure which route to take. Thanks,

I have a beagle but haven't experienced that yet. Sorry I couldn't help BTW, is that your beagle in your avatar? She's cute!Yes, that is my Shelby. She is 10 months old and has been to the emergency animal hospital 3 times. She is a lot of trouble but well worth it!
