So Nice | Arthritis Information

Yesterday we went to FIL church for their Easter Egg hunt. I stayed inside until time for the hunt. Me & son took off to the back of the church to find him some eggs, while the other kids went towards the front.

I walked around with son for 20 mins, and we found 31 eggs! Hubby did not even help us! We did soo good by ourselves that son got 7 eggs that were prize eggs, and he could have gotten 7 prizes off the table, but he only wanted bubbles & sunglasses. Some kids did not even find a prize egg.

It was so nice to actually be the one to help my son find easter eggs this year, instead of watching hubby help him. I have been sitting on the sidelines for 3 years and well... this year I was no longer a sit down watcher, I was able to participate!

I do have a lot of hope for the Remicade, just like I did for Humira. But so far it looks like the Remicade is much better than the Humira.

After we went back in to eat, I started not feeling well, and my hands were very warm and tight feeling, and they were swelled. I showed MIL and she said it was probably from being out in the sun and getting hot. But I did not get hot. I ran cold water over them, and it just made them feel hotter and swell more. An hour later the swelling and tightness went away.

I was surprised my back held out as long as it did. Usually after that much activity and then sitting and walking and sitting... my back and neck starts to act up a few hours into it, but this time it did not really bother me to the point of nagging at me and all I can think is "My back hurts, need a rubbing", until we were at in-laws house and around 8pm. So... my back lasted 8 hours! That REALLY is a new record for me without having high dose of pred in me.

I still have some swelling going on in my knees, ankles, wrists, & elbows... but not like it was before the Remicade infusion on Monday. Dose probably still needs to be upped or something needs to be added to aid in getting rid of the inflammation, but I am happy with the results so far.

I FINALLY got to help my son hunt Easter eggs and it was just me & him! And to make it even better... we found 31 eggs and 7 of them being prize eggs!

Now let's see if I can have this enjoyment next Sunday when the Real Easter Egg hunt gets here. I hope this Easter Egg Hunt was just a practice warm-up!Hey Joonie, thats what I love to hear!  Congrats and may there be many more days like that, hugs Janie. Joonie...I am so happy...that was totally great that you got to be the one helping him this year!  I am so glad the Remicade is working!!!! Well if that doesn't make ya smile I don't know what will!   I'm really glad you got to do that Joonie.  Those small things aren't really small at all, are they?Good for you Joonie, i bet your son was really happy that he had mummy to help him too. I hope you are still feeling good. That is so great!  A wonderful memory you and your son will share forever.  I'm really happy to read about what a great day you had.  Even with the difficulty you experienced later, it still couldn't take away from what you accomplished.  You'll always have that.  Thank you for sharing that good news with us.  Sounds like a great day!!! Glad to hear remicade is doing it's job. someone told me last week that they thought it was a miracle drug!Glad to hear you had a fun day with the family!MMmmmm....now I want an easter egg. 31 eggs is a LOT! That kid really cleaned up this year. Thanks Everyone! I am satisfied with my day yesterday.

My daughter found 31 eggs, and 8 of hers were prize eggs. No one helped her, she done that all by herself. No, no pics. We did not think about taking the camera. But I am sure there will be some from next sunday.
