osteo of the feet | Arthritis Information

I am a 60 year old female, new to this board.

I have had a right total hip replacement at the age of 53, due to degenerative hip.

I  am scheduled to have surgery in June on the joint in my little toe. Dr. said the joint is gone and he is not sure if the little toe joint is the only one. I will nee to have the joint removed and a screw inserted.  Has anyone ever experienced this type of surgery. I guess I never heard of degerative toes. Any help is greatly appreciated.
