Wow... Just Wow.... Pain killers | Arthritis Information
Been about a year since my last pain killer and i must say..... i want them back.
I went to a party and felt horrible yesterday so i popped a pain killer and wow oh wow did i feel great all day long. I could do things i normally can't do which was wonderful.
I am going to call the doctor on monday for a prescription. All i have in the house now i ultram and i can't take that when on paxil.
But... wow.... oh wow
I don't know why but pain meds don't affect me that way- and for some reason if I need them I need an awful big dose to get them to work!

Why did you go off the pain meds? I have always been on 1/2 tab vicodin ( 500mg) every 4 to 6 hrs. That way I keep severe pain at bay. For breakthrough pain....I typically use alieve.....sometimes a glass of wine. Yep wine.
I don't blame ya for wanting them back....me too!
Both papers with ultram and paxil say i can't take one with the other, it causes seizures.
I got off the pain killers cuz i got addicted to ultram, or my body did. I took them for so long that i needed more and more and more for the pain cuz the pain felt worse all the time. Once i got off it for about a month, my pain was lower and better to handle, i never went back to the pain killers after that.
YEp, pain killers will do that. Ultram never helped me with the pain. Only Vicodin and I keep that in check. If I miss 2 doses, I have a horrid headache...I have been on them a long time is why.
WEll it is good to hear you are feeling better.
Glad you had a good day yesterday! i am on zoloft and tramadol 100mg 3 times a day. no seizure yet.
kelSo did you call the Dr. yet for a script?
