Hey,
Anyone have any luck with Ultram? how does it conquer the pain? I'm still searching for something because my Rd appt is Tuesday and I want to have something in mind when I go
PhatsNo-but then again I'm taking it for a torn and frozen rotator cuff. I swear it's practically useless. It barely takes the edge off. I also have an issue with nausea if I take 2 pills every 4 hrs instead of 1 pill.Hi Phats, I use Endone and find it very helpful, it is a narcotic. Regards and good luck. Janie.
Maybe read this? http://wehelpwhathurts.homestead.com/whichmedication.htmlTramadol has been a godsend for me. My father, who suffers from chronic low back pain and arthritis, swears by it as well. In fact, he is using it right now to ease his pain after bypass surgery last week. It doesn't seem to work for everyone - perhaps you could ask your doctor for samples to try?
It is not a DEA controlled substance (yet!), but it does have some potential for abuse.
Or chronic pain medications article here http://www.healthcentral.com/chronic-pain/find-drug.htmlSometimes it works and other times it doesn't. I think it depends on the level of pain I'm having. Good luck. LindyJoonie,
