PUPPIES! | Arthritis Information

I am the proud grandmother to puppies right now and enjoying it so much.  My dog, Ozzie is the mom, and my daughter's dog Capone is the dad.  They are so adorable -- and so LOUD.  Ozzie is a very small dog (only about 8 pounds) so I only expected 1 or 2 puppies.  Boy was I wrong - she had seven.  Unfortunately the runt died yesterday, but the other six are robust and healthy!

Oh my gosh, they're so tiny!  Congratulations, gramma!!  :)Look at the brown one! To bad about the runt, I always like to get the runts of litters. I think the lady I got Abi Kitty told me she was the runt. Probably why I picked her.

Before you know it you will be stepping in cold pee and warm, squishy poo. How cool is that!?!?! I love them!

What kind of dog is Ozzie?
Thanks for sharing the pictures, too fun.  My dog needs a bath her seriously stinks.  Yeah, I was very sad about the runt - he was my favorite.  He was a brown one - you can just see his feet sticking out in the photo near her back leg.  He and the other brown one were twins - born in the same sack, which I haven't see before.  The other one was so much bigger, I think he must have missed out on a lot of the nutrition.  He never really got to nursing well, and I was feeding him puppy formula with an eyedropper, but he still didn't make it.  Survival of the fittest, I guess.   Ozzie is a Maltese/Bichon cross.  Capone is a "Cock-a-Shiht"  .  (A Cockapoo/Shihtzu cross).  So these are just mutts - but very small, adorable, non-shedding mutts! I did not even notice a little "brown spot" by her back feet. He was a tiny thing wasn't he?

Never heard of 2 puppies in the same birth sac either.

Is that your newspaper ad for when they are ready to be given away? I mean the non-shedding part will really sell a lot of people on them Awww...they're so cute!!I want one they look absolutely georgeous!OMGosh they are sooooooo cute!

I remember when my dog lady had precious and princess, she is a toy chahuahua (probably speled that wrong) so her babies were the smallest i had ever seen. :)  She did loose one though, they say her toy body was too small to hold all 3 :(
OMG they are freakin adorable!! I love what you call them. If you do put that in the paper for an ad...the editor will do a double take with a name like that. LOL.
Have fun with them. I used to have alot of kittens when I was a kid and I loved it!! The bad part about it was saying goodbye.

Congratulation's are in order.
It's a good feeling when we see nature like this.
how adorable!!!  They're absolutely precious!  AHHHHHHHHHHhh!!!!! They are sooooooooo darling! How is the momma holdin up?Awww they're beautiful!!!! I WANT ONE!! LoL now that they have had the litter are you going to spay and neuter them.  There are so many dogs already in shelters and rescuesI assure you these won't end up in any pound or shelter - I would never allow that to happen!  We love pound puppies - two of our dogs were rescued from the pound.

Ozzie is the only dog we have that hasn't been spayed or neutered, and yes, she will be after this one and only litter.

I doubt that you will have  a problem finding homes for those adorable puppies. THey  come from an excellant home with a healthy  momma.....besides, if you find that you have a few too many, I am certain all you would have to do is mention it  on here and you would have Arthritisinsight members at your front door scooping them up.  They are SOooooo cute!!!!  Laura
