Gimpy, you mentioned that you have ADHD.  Do others on the board have it and if so what do you take to treat it.  My hubby has it and will not take anything. Drives me whacko!  lol Yes...I have dexadrine for it but I hardly ever use it (even though it works really well).

I was part of a pilot study at the ADHD research centre which was a mix of a support group and an educational group. It was one of the best experiences of my life, I met some amazing people, and it was great to finally grasp that I'm not "lazy, crazy, or stupid", I just have this pysiologicasl issue. Aside from dexadrine, the best thing i ever did to manage my ADHD was get a palm pilot (but you have to also USE the palm pilot. About half of people with ADHD find this very useful and the other half just find it more frustrating).
Thx Gimpy.  What is a palm pilot? A Palm Pilot is a "personal digital assistant". Basically, it's an electronic address and agenda book. Newer ones are also a cell phone.

Palm Pilot

He is not that forgetful, he is just hyper and has trouble focusing and concentrating.  My daughter is ADD. It was  a struggle for both of us until she took her meds and we learned what best worked for her in school, ect. I learned unending patience, she learned different ways to cope, read, adjust and live.

Since she has been pregnant she has not been on her meds and life can be very difficult for her at times.

I am nearly certain I am ADD/ADHD, I just have never been tested.( they often times clump the two together).
