I would like to ask a question hoping someone could help. I just started enbrel 50mg. shot

had no side affect no burning on site where shot was given and it's almost a week later and every time I stand or blend over I get dizzy and it feels like my head and face is on fire. Had any of you had that problem. It was a miracle for me I had no pain after I got the shot a few hours later. I finally slept after of months of no sleep and terrbile pain. I feel pretty good except I get tired that might be normal for taking enbrel. If any body can help that would  be nice. Joan

I have not had the dizzy spells that you have had . I do get tired in the afternoon

but not as tired as I used to before Enbrel . There is no burning with Enbrel as there is with Humira which is nice . It sounds like it is working for you in the pain department .
That is good .
My shot burns, but I haven't had the dizziness or the "face burn" like you describe.  Maybe a call to your doctor is in order?

Several months ago someone posted that they thought they had some sort of reaction to one of the biologics.  Whoever it was called the help line to report it or to ask about it, I don't remember which.  Anyway, they gave their name to the person on the phone and found out soon that the pharma company dropped them.  Wouldn't let them take that med anymore.  So I'm just saying that maybe it would be smarter to ask your doc instead of calling the pharma help line.
hi there, I get dizzy sometimes and my face is red and burning hot. I think it's side effects from the enbrel. Read the paper that comes with it. I know for sure dizzyness is listed. It comes and goes and isn't usually bad. If yours is bad, give your doc a call. dear joan

it has been awhile since i was on enbrel but i remember my face getting real red if i took a walk outside.  it would take hours for it cool off even after i showered and everything.  so for whatever it was worth....   wonderwoman
I have been on enbrel now for over 5 months and I do get light headed the day of my shot. I used to have my pain support group that same morning but had to change the day I held it so that I didnt have to rush that day. I dont get the burning feeling in my face but I do get it in the stomach sometimes.sort of like a heat flush.
