A true Miricle, God was on my side yesterday | Arthritis Information

My daughter had her band competition yesterday.  I have missed almost every single event she has had in the past few years due to RA.

I knew this even would have a bunch of stairs to tackle which is my worst obsticle when out in public.

I woke up yesterday and almost didn't have an ounce of pain or swelling, not even an ounce and that has never EVER happened before during the past few years when i got bad.

I went through the day feeling so great!  I walked stairs like it was super easy, i walked all over chasing her down from room to room etc.

This morning, my body is back to normal, but my husband and i believe that god helped me yesterday, we can't think of any other reason why I did a day like that.

I am so happy :)
Oh that is so wonderful to hear...what a wonderful gift for both you and your daughter....That is so good to hear.  I don't doubt HE had a hand in it, but is there anything else you can think of that was different that may have contributed to your great day?  I took the same pills, ate the same food as normal, I didn't change anything and yesterday did well.GREAT! then all our prayer for you worked! I am so happy you were able to go and see that! Thanks :)

She got a 2, they rate from 1 to 5 (1=a), they were rated as a whole band.  They did get a 4 in the part where they play a new sheet of music that they don't know, they have to go by their teachers directions.  My kid said they talked like crazy and nobody payed attention which is why they lost.  Some kids are very wild in her band class.

She was very excited though.  After the competition, she saw me there and was thrilled. :)

They had pictures taken after and I was still able to stand lol.  That guy took forever.  He took two of the regular picture to pick the best, then he took a goofy one which will look so cute.  They got to make faces and do weird things for it, she had tons of fun.

We took her out to dinner after, it was a long day, but a great one.

I think that is great - maybe a sign of things to come?  Best wishes for more of the same in the days ahead!
GOD IS AWESOME!

Glad you experienced a divine intervention!
What grade is your daughter in?It is so nice to be reminded there really is a God sometimes.  It couldn't have come at a better time for you!  Congrats on the painfree day and the chance to be proud of your daughter!  What a blessing. That's wonderful - I'm sure it was very special for your daughter to have you there! God is on your side every day. But it's much nicer when we can see it! Gives us strength to hang on. I'm happy that worked out so wonderful for you.
mab522008-03-19 11:34:26Great news, Bubbagump! Glad you got to attend and had a good day to boot!I believe that God rewards us on special days when we've tried hard to keep a good attitude about our illnesses.  This very same thing happened to me nearly three years ago now, the week of my wedding.  I  had very little pain the whole week leading up to the big day, and on THE day, I woke up with no joint pain, stiffness, swelling, or any other sign that I had RA!  Even my face was pain free (you all know how our faces sometimes tell the story, even when we don't tell how bad we feel).    I was positively glowing!

I'm glad that others have experienced the same thing....it just validates that God is with us, even more!
I'm also sensing that there has been a mind shift as well.. Maybe you are still feeling better and do not know it because you wore yourself ouy yesterday. I am so glad you had this day to spend with your daughter. What a blessing. My doc said to slow into doing things as i am pushing my body to hard. He said it takes time to get back in the swing of things. If i can move around i hate to rest. Seems i think i have had enough of this resting. Well i guess sitting around in pain is not so relaxing really. I just hate feeling like a grounded teenager. I hope everyday becomes a blessing for you.God bless you!    we can do nothing apart from God and Jesus knows when it is really important.    i do not travel well any more and my husband wanted to surprise my son who was running in a marathon about 3 hours away one sunday.  i have been hurting alot lately and was very concerned about the trip.  we had to leave at like 4am to be there by the start of the race.  i was able to get up and be in the car on time.  a miracle.    i did not want to disappoint my husband again.  i prayed and had my daughter pray.  it was absolutely a wonderful day!  i was able to sit for over 6 hours.  i was able to make all the short cuts to the next relay stops walking.  all without complaining or getting sick.   it was a spectacular day.  truly a gift from our Lord.   thank you Jesus!   my sweet son kept asking mom are you doing o'k.  do you need us to slow down and i was like NO i am fine.

I'm soo happy for you and your family, that you got a special day~
