Went to my primary dr. today and he told me I need to start taking Crestor for my cholesterol. I've had problems w/arythmia nd taking a beta blocker. I have lots of muscle pain in my shoulders and arms and painful hands. My question is, how would I know if the statin is causing my muscle pain or the PMR??? I'm taking 10 mg. of prednisone a day and he would like me to reduce that.
