Hi guys, hope you all have a wonderful Easter.  Went to GP on Tuesday, still on 10mg MTX, could not go to RD on Weds as planned as hubby was ill with terrible sinus infection!

But my GP was pleased with me as all told, for my walking this week, I did 3 hours 30mins walking.......  I can't believe it either.  I lost another 2.8kg in the last week, taking it now to 5.2 kg in one month.  I was so happy.   Blood pressure improved at 116 over 95 but still not enough to relax about it.  I am still getting fatigued and had to sleep on two days for about ! hour, but I am trying not to sleep during the day.

I attended my first one on one hydrotherapy session today with my physiotherapist, at the warm public pool, and really benefitted from it, she has given me two programmes, one for flare days and one for better days.   I feel like I am in control of something at last and my Endone has dropped from 5 tablets of 5mg daily with tramal shots too, to 2 to 3 Endone a day.   People are commenting on how well I look, and I believe I look better too, so all in all I am feeling pretty good.  Thank God for these breaks in the pain cycle.  Have a great Easter everyone.  Janie. Good on you and looks like you are headed in the right direction.
You have a great easter as well, I'm off for a few days myself.

I am happy for you, Janie! Hi Janiefx,

It's so good to hear you are doing well.  I just went today for my evaluation with my PT and they are starting me on hydrotherapy on Tuesday.  I am really excited about it because I know how good I feel in the bath and can't imagine how the hydrotherapy will feel.  You have certainly inspired me as a newbie to seek out these alternative treatments and I wanted to thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

Take care and Happy Easter, HG
So proud of you for all of this walking. I had a depomedrol shot and was afraid of gaining wieght. I had quit getting them a few years back and had just lost all the wieght eight months ago. So i started eating tuna. High protien low calory. And cleaned this house top to bottom. Big house with alot of people in it. Anyway i did not gain any wieght in ten days. And LOL RD said i was over doing it. I decided scince i hurt so bad , what difference does it make if i have sore muscles from over doing it? I was so upset about getting that shot. And i am not even sure if it helped any? Like i said you are working so hard i can to. I am thrilled that your blood pressure went down a bit. Extatic about the wieght loss. And you will see as you continue to walk it will start pooring off. Keep up the great work. It's good to hear you are doing well.  I hope you continue to do so.That's WONDERFUL!! Congratulations ... your words are an inspiration to many. Keep on movin'!!
