Arava (novo-leflunomide) itchiness? | Arthritis Information

Howdy,
Just had Arava added to my MTX. Took my first pill yesterday morning. In the afternoon I noticed slight itchiness around my body. Then, by late evening even more. It took a benadryil (which I think helped). No rash and not insane-can't-stand it itchiness, just here and there and anoying.

So ... anyone else have this or other Arava side effects?

Joy , I have taken Arava for years and have not had any rash or itching

feeling . Is that one of the side effects ?? I'll hop on mayo and check it out .

Thanks, maimi. Looks like it may go away as I get used to the drug (hope so ... talk about irritating!!)

And good grief, sure hope I don't get the "gas" side-effect -- that would just be my luck ... poor hubby if I do! "gas" side-effect -- that would just be my luck ...

That would be awful!!
