Today, is a lazy day for me. My muscles are protesting and my engery level is low. The doc said that I would have this as my body readjusts to my new hip. I, finaly, got a sock puller. Had to have one of my roomies put my sock on me as I can't bend over yet. The first time I used it, I got the sock on my toes and no farther. Still had to call roomie to help me. Yesterday, got the sock on but it was crooked. Had to call the roomie to help me get my shoe on. So I went shoe shopping to get something that I could get on by myself. Found a nice pair of slip on mules with a leather strap that goes on the back of the heel. Reminds me of the Crocks shoe but nice ones. Finally got the swelling down in my feet and ankles. Of course, I'm going to the bathroom more as my body rids itself of this extra fluid.

Oh, I'm driving my car but not far as the groin pain will start in. I'm only 4 wks post-op. The hip replacement is going much better than the knee replacement. So those of you that are or have had joint replacement, you know what I'm going through. I only wish that I had done it sooner rather than later.

Hope that everyone is having a nice day.

Crooked socks are uncomfortable- hope you get the flexibility to get them on right by yourself soon! It always feels good to do things yourself!
