Anyone here ever tried antibioctics for pmr and had any sucess, or know of anyone who did?

I asked by doctor at my last visit, and tried to conince him to entertain the idea. He said no. He has not seen any improvment with it in his patients. I got the lecture that this deases was called senile gout or something like that.

We are decreasing to 6 mg and I am feeling miserable trying to get around. Feet feel like they belong to someone else. Stumbling and falling among other things.
