Ok so i dont mean to sound like I WANT another disease. Im just thinking cause i want meds to make me feel better!!

SO my previus rheumys were hesitant with JRA cause im seroneg and rarely showed swelling during exams.. i had positive blood work when i was dx that rheumy ALWAYS thought JRA...anyway i love my current rheumy she believes me and all but like the others is starting to think well maybe we are wrong. so we are trying fibro meds on top of enbrel...ive had docs goes all fibro no ra to me too. so at least she is daying maybe its both. but my question is what about lupus? Sometimes i feel like im too educated on the diff diseases cause why else ami thinking about it. But I have joint pain, stiffness and sometimes swelling, i have muscle pain, i have extreme fatigue, sometimes it hurts when i breath really deap, i always have sores in my mouth and im NOT on mtx. my hair was falling out but that could have been from mtx i think it stopped but its half as thick as before. ive been to doctors for dizziness. i get low fevers that last for at least a weekish, I have interstitial cystitis, i had a wierd rash all over biopsy came back could be an allergy or lupus, and my cheeks are almost contantly bright pink sometimes with a visible rash. also have a bunch of really wierd headaches and pains that cant be described by anything.

I feel like a hypochondriac always thinking i have a new problem. but im just trying to problem solve cause it seems like maybe since NO meds help they arent treating me right? except that doesnt make sense since mtx didnt work and can be used for lupus, nsaids dont help much, plaquenel didnt help. only thing that helps is prednisone........

BOO i just want to know and be done with the uncertainty everyone has with my dx.

my current rheumy as thought lupus before but my blood is always normal........I am so sorry you are going through this.  I have "some" symptoms of various diseases, but not all so my rhummy is watching me to make sure things don't finish filling in the blank parts of the diseases.

For me, i have symptoms of lupus, bechets disease, crohn's disease too.  But, not some that are usually part of the diseases, so they aren't sure if it is it or not.  They say the lack of the rash on the face (i have a rash but not red) keeps me from lupus diagnosis, lack of family tree keeps me from bechets and the lack of bowel bleeding keeps her from saying i have crohns.

I know how frustrating it can be and I want you to know that your doctors will watch your symptoms, let them know everything that is wrong each time you visit and they will keep an eye on you in case you do get other diseases.

And don't panic.  Most people do very well with medication for all these diseases and lead a pretty normal life.  There are tons of meds out there to choose from.

Also, I too have an allergy on top of everything.  I am allergic to dairy.  it is not easy to keep all dairy out of the diet, but as time goes by, it gets easier and easier.

Your list does seem like a food alergy (symptoms).  I too get the horrible shortness of breath etc.   I have an emergancy inhaler in my purse, one next to my bed and one at my desk just in case i can't breathe.  Once i got the allergy under control with lack of dairy, i don't need the inhaler but a few times every couple of months.

We all want to know the answers to what is wrong and these diseases are still a partial mystery.  Be happy though, they are finding more and more and more about them in the past couple years which means proper treatment should be within the next 10 years (so they say).

I wish you well and god bless.
You aren't a hypochondriac, you have autoimmune/rheumatic disease called "yours" :)  When I first read up on my dx as I had never even knew there was difference between arthritis and RA, and saw there were like 80 different forms of it, I went "rut roh".  And every day is a different day for me with my symptoms, which finally explained a medicine chest full of everything from cold sore medications to laxatives.  I couldn't get a handle on anything - one day this the next day that, the only constant at first was this horrifying headache like the top of my head was going to blow off to severe chest pain, to frain bog (confusion) to a diagnosis of some mish-mash of whatever "my" disease is made up of for the day.  You aren't making any of this up, you aren't crazy, and you are not being a hypocondriac, you are experiencing the joy of having a wild disease that not even the MDs have a handle on.  It takes a while to wrap your head around having this, and realizing you weren't making it all up and really are ill.  Hang in there.  check out Behcets Disease

o i didnt mention i DO have food allergies im celiac. so no gluten allowedI have JRA and have sores in my mouth (thats JRA!), fever, pink face a lot (usually because of a fever), I am dizzy a lot and my hair fell out really bad with the mtx. I have JRA and Fibro. Let your doc know! If you don't think he/she is right get a second opinion. If you get a lot of the same dx, maybe you will feel better, or maybe you will get a better dx! Good lucki DO think i have JRA ive been dx for 10 years but the mouth sores, the rash on the cheeks, and a lot of that other stuff i said-bladder, dizzy stuff is newer within last few years. the only reason im thinking well maybe they are missing something is cause none of the meds work for me and i have so many wierd symptoms that she is like hmmmmm thats wierd!
