I ate some beef chili, no flair and couldn't understand it, thought the beef was why i was so flaired the last couple months, then it hit me.

Bread bread bread and oh ya, bread.

Almost everything i had was with bread, a hamburger, sandwich etc.  Before that i hardly had bread at all.

aha!  Lowering the bread intake and testing it to see what will happen.

Can't until my cold is gone cuz i hardly have even an ounce of pain while i have my cold, but after i will start my test.

I was going to cut everything and do a vegan thing, but think if i try and eliminate foods instead, then i might have more of an option of what to eat that won't flair me.  I would hate to not have turkey on thanksgiving.
I eliminated all wheat and sugar for about 2 months.  I actually forgot I had RA.  I felt great.  But, then, came halloween and the holidays and the diet went out the window.  I want to get back on it though as I haven't been feeling very good.

I started eating sugar again before the wheat and breads.  Sugar didn't bother me.  It was the wheat.

Good luck Bubba, hope you can find a 'diet' that works for you.  I am now convinced that food and my joints are very much related!
I wouldn't be at all surprised to discover a good many RA sufferers are gluten intolerant, if not having full blown celiac disease. Gluten intolerance damages the cilia in the gut, and then the rest of the health problems follow from that.I made the mistake of having a beer last night. I didn't have my single annual beer on St. Patricks Day because I was taking Vicodin. So I did last night. I don't know if it was the beer for sure, but my hip was in agony in the worst way. Woke me up and kept me up. At least corned beef and cabbage don't bother me!
