OT: Chit Chat Wednesday March 26 | Arthritis Information

Goodmorning everyone!!! I HAVE to be productive today no matter what! LOL My best friend and her husband are coming over on Sunday along w/ possibly some of my husbands co-workers...for what you ask? LOL Only the greatest day in WWE!!! Yes yes we are HUGE WWE fans in this house....Sunday is Wrestlemania *the superbowl of wrestling*....So yea must have my house put up together nice...Had to get up at 3:30AM this morning...did you know there was a 3:30 in the morning as well as the afternoon? LOL yea it SUCKED lemmie tell ya...I had to drop hubby off at work so I could have the truck...he will be in MI all day today, will come home tonight and probably go back up there tomorrow and Fri, but will stay up there Thursday night...so party at my house Ok so I *think* something is wrong with Jessie (my moms terrier doggie we are watching) randomly throughout the morning she'll let out this pathetic whimper...Any suggestions doggie lovers out there in internet land?

OHH funny comment from Kelsay of the day....We had to go to Walgreens this morning and we brought Jessie, well when we got back home she said that she would hold Jessies leash *Jessie likes to pull so we usually dont let her but this time she stayed at Kelsays side the whole time* and that she didnt need help cause shes a "professional at dogs" hahaha it cracked me up!! Out of the mouths of children LOL

A friend sent me this link this morning to a site called www.FamilyWatchDog.us when you put in your address a map comes up. Their's a little house to mark where you live and then little colored marks where criminal sex offenders live. If you click on the dot it tells what they are guilty of. I thought it was valuable, especially for those of us with kids.Thanks for posting that Link...but pllllease keep in mind that just because someone is on the sexoffeder registery does not mean that they would ever hurt a child...a good friend of mines brother in law is on that list because he stole a car that happened to have 2 small kids in it....when he realized that they were in the car he stopped got out and was subsiquently arrested...I have seen him w/ his nieces and also how he is around Kelsay and he would NEVER do anything to harm a child...you can just see it...So just dont rush to judgement is all im sayin

Hello everyone! It's actually a little bit like spring here today - temps in the 50's and sunny! There's still a very cold wind blowing through but we're moving closer to spring every day. I need it bad!!!

The on-line sex offender list was very valuable to our family, I must say. When my daughter was about to enter her senior year of college, we discovered (by one of her friends just casually checking the list) that my daughter's roommate and best friend was dating a convicted child molester. It was a very long, horrible ordeal, and unfortunately this girl was "in love" and insisted she was going to stand by her man (even though he had lied to her about his conviction). There was no way that I was going to allow a sex offender to have access to my daughter's apartment.

And this guy was a big time offender. When his records were obtained from the court, we found out that he had kidnapped and raped a child between the ages of 9-12, kept her over a 24 hour period, used things to violate her in addition to his own body parts. He had served 8 years in prison, because he got some kind of 2 years credit for every year served?? He told his girlfriend (now fiance') that he had consentual sex with a girl who was 16 at a party, and he thought she was older. He also lied about how long he served.

Any way, my daughter and this girl ended their friendship and their living arrangements, thank goodness. My daughter couldn't comprehend how her best friend, whom she thought she knew, would stay with a man who would do such a thing. It broke her heart to lose her friend, and she still prays for her. A very sad situation.

Anyway, I think checking the on line sex offender lists provided by most states is a very wise thing to do.
