Cold Medicines & RA | Arthritis Information

I just caught a cold  (runny nose and scratchy throat).  This is the first time I've been sick since getting diagnosed with RA last september.

I read that RA medicines reduce inflammation by suppressing our immune systems.
Is it ok to take cold medicines since it would boost our immune systems and thereby increase the inflammation?  Which ones do you reconmmend?

Hope you feel better soon.

Cold medicine (sudafed, tylenol, robitussin, benadryl, etc) do nothing to the immune system.  They just help ease the symptoms.
