OT - Hotel Fountain Charities! (Suzanne read!) | Arthritis Information

So after Suzanne's visit to the Embassy that had their fountain change going to benifit JRA, I asked my GM about OUR fountains.

Well he was already on the way to getting us hooked up with two of our local chapters of some bigger charities. So when I mentioned the fountains, he got excited! YAY! So he's gonna do it. He'd picked out Habitat for Humanity, which is HUGE out here, they do so much for our local community it's great. And he'd also picked American Lung Association (?? Is that what its called?) That one was more personal for him, he had a scare with possible cancer and quit smoking, so now he's really pro-information and anti-smoking etc etc. So I can understand that one.

But yay!! BOTH of our fountains will get a thingy to go on them saying what foundation the change goes to, and we'll make our maintenance boys get wet and dig the change out periodically. Heeeeheeee!!!
Good job Katie. :)Katie, what a great idea! Good for you! Those sound like two very deserving causes!  Great news!    Very nice.
Suzanne, I'll be taking pics once we get it done. :)

I'm glad you told me about the other Embassy hotel. :)

Thank you!
No, thank YOU for following up with your property!   I thought all Embassy Suites did it, so now we have to crusade to make sure they all do!

We really did have a nice stay at the one here.  My daughter wants to do it again next year, and we probably will.  The fountain and waterfall are great - I need one for my backyard! - the girls could carry on all they wanted right beside it and all the noise was drowned out, so I never had to 'shush' when we were down there.
Awesome! Well let me know ahead of time, and I'll search the system for a Friends and Family rate for you :)
