but it wasn't.

It all started Tuesday afternoon with a bit of a sore throat. I went to bed and woke up around midnight and I felt like I got hit by a truck, and then he went back and ran me over.
I woke up yesterday am, dizzy, nausea, bad bad headache, body aches terrible, weak...it was awful. I stayed home from work (which I never do) and stayed in bed all day. Shut the shades, leave me alone kind of day. Joints felt the same, no difference there.
This morning I wake up and feel soo much better.
Those of you with Fibro, do you think this may have been just a BAD Fibro day?? And not some sort of virus? I have never felt that bad, except when I had the flu a couple years ago, and that lasted much longer than 1 1/2 days.
Thanks for any imput!!
I forgot to add, I know this is an RA forum, but I have noticed the Fibro forum is kinda slow, and I know some of you have Fibro, so I thought I'd post here. Sorry.Could have been the flu too, flu is very active right now, glad to hear you are betterHave had days like that with my Fibro! But don't discount the flu, having autoimmune diseases don't allow you to discount things! Fibro is bad! I am having a bad time with mine, but thats today! Hope you feel betterDeb, sounds like a flu bug to me. Headaches are very common with viral syndromes. Could also be a combination, with your fibro seeming worse due to the flu.sounds like the flu to me.  usually when anyone here gets the flu they are deathly ill for 1 or 2 days... this last flu is an anonomally in that everyone was down for a week or more.Really if i am sick i am stiff. I vote virus. That truck hit me pretty hard also. Feels like the truck wanted to do me in. Seems to be going around. Everyone i know has had or has now.In my part of the country the flu has been a Big Problem. Schools have actually shut down because of it.  Take Care
