So have you beat Mario Galaxy yet? Is that why you have not been posting as much because you were too busy beating Mario Galaxy?Oh and we were looking at the Wii games some time beginning of last week. And there was one called Cooking Momma, I was like how you play that on Wii? Hubby said I bet there is a way. LOL! Well, this is going to sound SOOOOO crazy because I LOVE my new Wii, but I actually haven't played it for weeks, maybe even months. That is because my life and living space is in COMPLETE CHAOS due to gearing up for my 4 month road trip this summer. I thought getting ready for Burning Man was the most preparing I ever had to do for a trip, but it pales in comparison to this one. We are, however, planning on taking the Wii on the road with us, in the Wii Zelda tote bag we bought.

I did play some original Super Mario on my new retro-NES last night. My friend found a complete NES in his basement, with games, all in their original packaging and gave them to me. When I played it, I said to myself "Wow, video games have really evolved!". Heh.Hey, I have played Cooking Mama I think. You have to flip pancakes and stuff. The kids just got Super Smash Brothers Brawl.  It's a new and improved version of the old Super Smash Brothers for the Gamecube.  Cartoon mayhem at its finest!  I don't understand why this game is rated "T" (for Teen)... it's like an interactive Tom and Jerry cartoon.  Just nutty mayhem.  It's the only game that's not rated "E" that I let them have. Cool! I got a new used game for the PS2 a couple of weeks back. Resident Evil 4. First one I will ever play out of that series. I would finish off the Dot Hack series, but I am annoyed at myself, because I was at the end of part 3 OutBreak, and then I realized I needed a core that you can only get from part 2, and now I have to start all over at part 2 to get that one core to hack the gate to fight one of the big bosses. UGH!

So... I have moved on to trying out a new game, Resident Evil 4. I just hope it is not scary or heart pounding like the one I watched hubby play. Because I just do not think my heart can take a good scaring LMAO! I even told hubby no going to the spring carnival, because I will not be able to get on a couple of my favorite rides. He said yeah, your heart probably would not be able to take it. I was like no because I cannot get into the Scrambler! *shakes head*
OMG, I LOOOOVED Resident Evil 4---I had it for Game Cube and BF had it on PS2 (I know...we're both addicts). After I finished it I just started again at the beginning because on the second round you can get an Infinite Rocket Launcher.
I'm sorry to tell you it was really scary though. It was kind of silly how frightening it was. Just the first part with the zombies, though.Hummm... I might have to work thru the scary parts LOL!

I fell in love with the Resident Evil movies. So that is why I decided to try out the games. But hubby talking me into get part 4. I wanted to start from part 2, but he said people told him that part 4 was the best out of all of them. So... I went along with it. PLUS they only had part 4 LOL!
Well, it IS a really really good game. I'm not so into first person shooting games but I couldn't put it down. It's good...it will keep your mind off troubles, that's for sure.Cool, good to know! I am not into shooting games either. I am more of the super mario game player. I have just started to take a liking to RPGs.

Welp, I will let you know how it goes when I start to play it. I talk hubby into moving the PS2 into our room. Otherwise I would have to wait for when the kids went to sleep to play it. Probably too gorry for them.
