Does anyone play this? I LOVE it. My fingers are about worn down though. Just wish they were more limber. Not sure if this is bad....or good for RA.I would say anything that strengthens the muscles around the joints is good, as long as you don't overdue it.  I just stopped practicing mandolin...orchestra rehearsal tomorrow.  I play for about 20 mins then rest my hands for a while...except at concerts!

I love Guitar Hero! I've played guitar for 10 years, so it comes quite easy for me. Even though I can't play my real guitar and piano, I find that I can play Guitar Hero for about 20 minutes everyday. I usually play at night when I've finished all my work and I'm dosed up on pain killers before bed so that I don't have a lot of pain in the morning. I've nearly finished all the songs on medium, but I'm finding that my fingers just aren't what they used to be! Poo!_popupControl(); I don't know if I'll ever go beyond medium. My fingers just do not work that well and fast. I do enjoy it. At first, it really tensed me out but now I just have fun and relax. [QUOTE=lorster]I don't know if I'll ever go beyond medium. No one's fingers work well when first playing guitar.  I tried to learn guitar back in high school.  I figured it would be easy, since I already played trumpet, flute, sax and piano... well, I couldn't get beyond simple Twisted Sister songs.my daughter and husband love it.

I bought a DDR game for exercise about 2 weeks before my RA hit, still waiting to dance on it lol.
Nope have not played that yet. Glad you enjoy it so much!We have both Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution (with two pads!)ut never get into them that much. I can only play Guitar Hero for maybe half an hour at a time (I like being Lars).

You know what looks really fun? Rock Band. I LOVE Guitar Hero!!!! My good friend and her husband came over yesterday (and spent the night) and brought Rock Band and it is SOOOOOO cool!!!!  When I first started playing GH it took ALOT getting used to....but it is ALOT of fun...Weird thing is is that it doesnt bother my hands at all...I thought my hands would be hurting a lot more but it doest...THis summer they are comming out w/ a GH for Nintendo DS.....My children love it! I've never played it though....but their addicted!

I think any exercise that uses your hands is good. I took up kntting as my fine motor skills started getting worse and I swear it helps.
I've played GH and I'm awful at it. I get booed off the stage everytime I play. My kids however, are great at it.My DD wants it for her b-day.  But she wants me to get GH 1.  And I am guessing that is hard to come by being they have 2 and 3 out now.^ Yup. I'd buy the Guitar Hero 3 bundle with the wireless guitar, and pick a second hand copy of Guitar Hero 1 in a second hand store for cheap (if you can find it!) The GH3 controller is apparently backwards compatible with all games, so she should be happy! Rock on!

_popupControl(); Nice to know paperdoll.  Thanks.
