I've been away from this board for awhile now. I am recovering from arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder. I had been having pain in my shoulder for 6 months and finally gave in to the surgery in Feb. I'm glad I did. I feel so much better. My doctor said I had alot of spurring and he actually shaved a little of my shoulder blade down in order to give my arm more room to move without pain. That didn't feel so good afterwards
Geez this is the first time I've been back to the board to read any messagestoo. Where is all the old members???? Lovie, Joonie,Phats. Can't think of everyone else right now, but it looks like we have a whole new crew. Oh well that's what a message board is all about new people everyday@!!! Welcome to the newbies anyway.

Hi MO3, Yuck, surgery.....but you sound like you're doing well. Hmmmm, I had a knee replacement 6 months ago and they didn't send me home with a pump!!!! Had one in the hospital, good stuff.
Am glad you're back and yes, there are a lot of newbies, so there's quite a variety of personalities and opinions. Hope you keep posting. Take care. Lindy

Sounds ouch! I'm glad they treated it now, rather than later. Random RA factoid I found out last night: apparently Renoir's shoulder got to the point where it completely anklyosed. Be glad it's 2008 and not 1908!
