I had been slowly swelling scince Friday. Maybe Thursday. Took Mtx last night about 6:30 p.m.. Around midnight i got up and was standing. My right knee whent nuts. Just shaking so hard like a sezure or something. I walked back inside and was talking while walking it was not that my voice was shaking. I was full blown stuttering. I had done this before but it has been years. I just wonder what causes it? It only lasted about five minutes but it was really severe. I have only been able to get up today two hours after pain pill. When it wares off i go back to bed. I am just flaring everywhere. Have had swelling stiffness and muscle spasms but no more shaking or stuttering. milly2008-03-30 18:21:19I'm not big on this but I would have headed for the ER. I'd call your doctor at the least. Milly I would definitely call the doctor about this. You have been having other things going on too. Maybe a trip into the office wouldn't be a bad idea.I sort of wanted to go to the ER. I have done this before. I have had an MRI of the brain a few years back. It was fine. I think it is just compression on the spine? That is my guess. My lower back is locked up and my neck is stiff and upper back is swelled. I was mentally alert. Really this only ever happens when my spine is bothering me. I think you should see a dr.  You do have lots of stuff going on.  The stuttering would definitely concern me.I always have lots of stuff going on. Lots of doc appts. Lots of test. I can only make blood so fast. They have probably had forty tubes of blood in the past six months. Maybe that is my problem lack of blood. I am trying to hold off for two weeks as they get more blood then. I would like to put a once a month minimum on the blood draws. Maybe my blood sugar was low again? That causes all sorts of wierd stuff. Usually that happens at night also. well....at least a phone call to the doctor please?Oh i probably will call them tomorrow. Do not worry, i just wondered if i was strange or if anyone else ever did this.Call the doctor, please!!
