Goodmorning everyone!!!   How was everyones weekend???? Mine was AWESOME!!!!  A good friend of mine and her husband came down Saturday afternoon w/ their 2 furbabies and stayed the weekend.  I hadn't seen her in 8 YEARS!!!! But when they got here you would have NEVER guessed it had been that long.  It was really funny cause we have so much in common that I never realized before....Her husband is the same age as mine, we both got married in the same month, our husbands are both ex-military, we both started dating them right out of highschool, we both have problems w/ ovarian cysts....OMG the list goes on and on...And our husbands are VERY similiar too..Her husband kept saying that I should have been her sister instead of her real sister cause her and I are so much alike.  All the dogs got along really well....at first Finley didnt want to come out of his cage when he saw that there were 2 other doggies at the house...We played Rock Band all night Saturday....It was SOOOO much fun!  Then Sunday night was Wrestlemania...Which was AWESOME!!!  Tho there were some matches that I was VERY surprised as to the outcome....But we had SOO much fun hanging out!! And today Kelsay is at my dads and since she is on Spring Break this week my dad isnt bringing her back untill sometime after dinner....And my hubby is in MI working today and tomorrow so I get the house to myself ALL DAY!!

Hope all is well with everyone and hope y'all are feeling good as well!!

~Shannon~
Hi Shannon, glad you had a great weekend, its always nice to see old friends especially ones who we can have fun with.
We are having some lovely weather today so i have been outside in the garden with the dogs, I had no kids the weekend as they were all out at friends but today there is a huge pile of laundry that i have tried to get through without much luck.......my son is now helping. I am having MTX day after effects. yukk!!
I hope everyone else has a good day.
Good morning. Sounds like you had a great weekend. Mine was the usual. Work on Saturday, Saturday night we did a Wal-Mart run. Sunday, my son had baseball practice. We did lots of laundry. Kinda boring, and I like it that way sometimes.Shannon, I am so glad that you had a wonderful weekend.  It is great to have friends that both partners love.  I have friends and Jeff has friends, but we share very little friends that we both like both partners.

I have just started the Arava, and am feeling pretty sick to my stomach and am still lowering the Pred.  So, I have been in so much pain for so long that I don't know waht it would be like.

So, I did not find a sub job for the afternoon, so....I will just relax today and maybe clean the house a little and get the laundry finished up.  Lots of love to all!
Hi Kel

My husband and I have one set of friends like the ones you describe too. It is always great to get together with them.

My weekend consisted of cooking a nice dinner Saturday night with my son who we had to take back to college on Sunday. We both love cooking so it was nice.

Sunday my husband and I had lunch out after dropping him off at the bus. it was at a place called Breezes and it is done up in a tropical theme. It made us feel like going back to the Bahamas. We love the islands. I am looking into taking him on a trip for his 5oth birthday in December. We have a lot of work we need done on our home and I had told him no more trips til it's done but then I remembered it's a special birthday this year. We're not the type that likes to have the big party with everyone kidding you about getting old. We'd rather go away quietly and pretend we're still young....
*dies* You have RockBand? I'm tres jealous! How is the drum kit on that thing?

Dude, ovarian cysts suck. I've had a 6cm one for nearly a year now.

Glad you had a good weekend. It rained here for the first time in so long! So much rain I couldn't go outside! It's really turning into Autumn now. Stupid Plaquenil stole my summer tanning time!

Paperdoll, we dont have Rock Band, my friends that came ove have it and they brough it with you...I was going to try the drums on it but yea LOL there was nooo way i can do the drums LOL

It's a cold rainy morning here today.  It's my Spring and I want it now!  (That was for you Shannon, LOL)

Saturday we went as a large group and invaded a small tuxedo shop, picking out  tuxedos, vests, ties, shoes, the whole nine yards for my daughter's wedding in August.  Then the guys all had to be measured.  Yeah, we took over that little shop for a good hour!  But the men should all look wonderful.

Saturday night and Sunday I was home alone, as my son is in another show which opened Saturday night, and hubby is running backstage and technical stuff.  I will be going with next weekend to see the show, which is supposed to be amazing, but very sad - It is "Miss Saigon".

Anyway, I was home alone and made a nice rare roast, with new potatoes, onions, and mushrooms for everyone to come home to last night  -- and  they went to a party at the choreographer's house!

Oh well, I enjoyed it.  And sure makes some great leftovers for lunch today.

I am having fun cuddling with puppies.  All of their eyes are open and they are just beginning to get more active.  Soon they will be tumbling and wrestling and we will be able to see their individual personalities.  So much fun!

Aw Karen, Please post some more photo's of the pups, i love it when their eyes first open. The tuxedo shopping sounds good fun, I love a man in a tux......Karen, sounds like you had fun this weekend....Your spring comment made me giggle !! Thanks :)
Has anyone had the Garden Salsa Sun Chips??? OMG they are AMAZINGLY good!!!!
I played video games all weekend, but we have head sets where we talk with all our "guild" members, basicly friends who join as a family group and you chat with them all day while you either play games with them or go your own way.

So, even though i haven't been able to get out often, i chat it up with lots of people every day and it is tons of fun.

I'm glad you had a good weekend, i hope everyones was well.
Oh Karen, I LOVED Miss Saigon. Please take and post pictures when it comes around!!!!!!

I'm off work WOO HOO. And I'm actually gonna go out with a FRIEND today. *gasps*

I know right? I have IRL buddies! It's amazing. I can take pictures if you want proof. Haha
Have fun Katie - sounds like a great day.

It sounds like I am way behind the times with video games.  My son has Guitar Hero for his PS2, which I guess is now considered an antique, LOL!

I can really date myself and tell you I used to have the original "PONG" game before I got married, and then my first anniversary hubby gave me an Atari 5200 so I could play Pacman.  My all time favorite was the old NES Zelda game - I got so mad at my son when he used secret codes to "beat" the game.  That just felt like cheating to me, LOL!

Of course I have Tetris on my computer, so I'm still able to be old-school!
Hell yes tetris!

We still have an Atari.....somewhere......and an old Super NES. And a Sega Saturn, but that ones not THAT old.
I remember playing "PONG" when I used to babysit for a neighbour.  Loved playing it, but now when I think about it...BORING.
I loved playing Zelda as well.
My husband collects old pinball and arcade games....he has a room full of them but my favourite one is baby pac-man.
