hi all when i was diagnoed whith ra i was told i have a abnormality of the blood which being
paraprotein. i just wonderd if any one out there has this . thanks all . Boney
Boney, I have never heard that term before. Can you tell us something about it?hi hillhoney .. paraprotein in the blood at low levels needs to be monitored once a year
as if the paraprotein level rises it is a indication of mutiple myeloma.. allso a low level
of paraprotein may cause neuropathy. it is the neuropathy. side i am most interested
in as i have a lot of burning and tingling sensations but no answers to the cause.
if a person were to have paraprotein in the blood i am sure they would have been
notified by there hospital or rheumatologist. if you do a search on paraprotein and
rheumatoid .. you would get a better insight than i can explain.. hope this helps
a little ... Boney
