Maybe this is why I haven't had success with mtx.

Just shoot me now.

I don't know how much a low amount is based on the milligrams quoted.  All I know is when I'm feeling really crummy, coffee often perks me up like the wonderful little drug it is.  Must they take this from me too?  I suspect it will take more coffee than I drink in a day to cause a problem, but it makes me wonder if any amount could have an effect on the MTX.  If the MTX wasn't doing it's job anyway, I reserve my right to enjoy my coffee!! So there.  #@!%$#  I think I may chose to pretend I didn't read this. I was too scared to open this at first, nothing is taking away my coffee!!!!!!  Janie. There is a product called Teeccino, which you can add a little to your coffee grounds before brewing - it helps cut the caffeine, but more importantly, the acid that coffee creates, as we have to watch for ph problems.  It's at the health food store and is made with roasted carob, barley, chicory root, dates, orange peel, almonds, and figs.  The article really came short of making a blanket statement other than having more caffeine might lessen effectiveness. The overall impression was to watch your intake.
Here's a link on how much caffeine is in what you might be drinking. Remember that it's in coffee, tea, chocolate, headache pills and more. I don't know about you, but coffee and chocolate are absolutely essential life giving nutrients in my diet
