Has anyone tried beano? Does it really work & is it really worth the money?
I know this should have went in the Medication Questions Forum, but that is too far to scroll...lol.
Hi June, I tired it but it didn't seem to work all that well and left me with a burning sensation in my stomach. I also had read an article about how this could cause some problems with people with certain allergies and how they may have a reaction to Beano.... It is made from Aspergillus niger mold.... Personally any drug that does not have any well written information on it's label, I would be a little weary about these days. The government does not make OTC drug companies comply with the stringent labeling and Information that our Pharmaceutical companies are asked to do. Gas is a natural phenomena, that happens when we eat certain foods and some of us are a little more susceptible to it's properties than others....As for me, I would let it all hang out, say excuse me and move on.
