burning legs veins popping out | Arthritis Information

hi all i have got burning feellings in the legs and the veins on the inside
of my ankles pop right out.. wakes me up in the mornings..  gp thought i
had thrombophlebitis ... but rheumatologist  says no  it is all part of ra
and i just have to live whith it  Hi Boney, I have that off and on. My rd said it was the ra and inflammation. I get it on my feet and hands. I don't take pred and have for almost 3 years.

Hi boney my foot hurts a lot and i get this horrible burning in my foot so i know how you feel its not very nice at all love dianaBoney I get it all the time in my feet and hands, Not all the time though. Sometimes i dont have it for agesIt's not really RA but a type of neuropathy caused by the RA over time. At least that's what the neurologist I was sent to said.

This is what mine is. I started the Lyrica because of this condition and it does help. I think the B12 injections I take also help this condition.
 
 
 
 
Boney, are these like varicose veins? I have had them in my legs for years and they do burn like crazy, at times. It doesn't seem like you think it is varicose veins, though.hi lovie thanks for the link.. very  interesting.. i wonder why the docs just
dont say what it is in the first place...

hi  nini  the main vein on the inside of the ankles pop out as big as my thumb
and it burns right up my legs.. when the vein is pressed any where on my leg
it is very painfull.. that is why the gp thought it was thrombophlebitis..
but the rheumatologist says it is not inflamed and is due to ra...
wish it was varicose veins .. do men get those... Boney
