Green Tea and BAM - APers | Arthritis Information

After seeing the study Lynn posted about Green Tea making antibiotics more effective, I decided to see what was available to try for my daughter.  My grocery store ad said they had some bottles on sale - six pack for 5.99, so I decided I get some.

But then Costco had a 24 pack for 9.99!!!!  It is made by Lipton - well, one reason to not be timid about trying it on a five yr. old is that it available outside a specialty retailer.

The reg. had 'high frustose corn syrup' as the second ingredient....no.  The diet ingredients were water, citric acid, green tea, then a bunch of chemicals we won't talk about.

Bought the case, and gave her a cup at dinner.  When I put it on the table, I felt like yelling, "BAM" like Emeril does before he takes it up a notch.  She liked it!

I told my mom we were trying it, and guess what?  My dad just got antibiotics for an infection in his hand (they think some kind of stinger got stuck in it) and when the dr. rx'd the antibiotics, he told my dad to drink green tea while he was on them, to make them work better!!!!      Wow - I've been drinking a mix of green and black tea every morning.  I was on pure green but when the thyroid/aspirin mess happened I needed that caffiene.  Looks like it's time to go back to pure 'green'.

P.S.  BAM!
I am all out of my peppermint candy cane lane Green Tea. Used my last one yesterday. Now I need to make a trip down the coffee/bread/peanut butter/jelly/hot dog buns/hamburger buns/Hot Chocolate with marshmellow/tea aisle

And the coffee ALWAYS smells SOO GOOD!

Are you allowed to put sugar in the tea? I do not if it has a flavor already added. I cannot drink no sugar tea without flavor, I just lose interest in it. What I bought is like iced tea.  That is pretty much what it tastes like, Lipton iced tea like you can buy from a soda machine.  Not my favorite taste for 'real' iced tea, but as green tea, it is good.  I took a bottle to work with me today.     I love green tea and for a sweetner I always use honey . But I might try a can of it someday . Alright thanks for the info. I was wondering what the Bam was. LOL Please let us know how this works for you and yours. I've been drinking hot green tea all week at work. I'm loving it but I do sweeten it with sugar. If it gets cold it's still really good where as coffee gets gross when it cools off.

I think mine has caffien in it. There was another one that said caffine free so I got this one assuming it had caffine. Was I wrong? Is it all caffine free?
