I have been looking at all my symptoms and short of something else popping up I'm beginning to think I might be diagnosable as UCTD. Still doesn't tell me much, if anything, but it's accurate. Anyone else get that and progressed?  Did you read that is one of the hardest diseases to dx.  I did a search once on  hardest to diagnose diseases one day. So i wonder honestly if i had that and jumped the fence. Just wonder, can not prove it. Except i used to not show up on bloodwork and now i do. Also i used to have large breaks between flares and they are more constant. I am sicker, tireder and swell more than i used to. So i would fight for treatment if that is what you think you have. What is UCTD? I'm not familiar..Undifferentiated Connective-Tissue Disease I believe....

Hi Deborah, that's what I started with and within 10 years had RA symptoms but neg. labs and then 4 years later developed a severe onset of RA with positive labs.  Progressed from 1985 to 1998 when RA diagnosed.  Was diagnosed with PsA in 2006.  Lindy

I have negative labs up till this point, though RD says undeniably it is RA. (knee fluid exam) I thought that there were many with negative RF and SED levels still diagnosed with RA?I'm a mix of RA and OA symptoms. I'm close enough to early OA to pass muster if someone did a good physical, took a careful history and actually listened to me. I also might have Fibro, but the RD didn't look at the arthritis well enough to even look beyond that for what's wrong at all.
