Reheumy is gonna give me ultram.I have to go in and sign a paper to get it.I wonder why?
Love,
Sheila
No, I too take ultram and never had to sign anything. It might be because it is a pain medication. Maybe others will have more info.

Nope no idea here, never heard of that.
Tell us what it was all about when you get back. We some nosey folks around here...lol.
Fill us in...I'm curious myself. I like it too. (tramadol anyway...samething right?) Is this the first time they have precibed pain meds? Were you the one that was getting like 6 pills at a time and then you had to call in to get a refill Sheila? I just started taking ultram-given to me by my gp for sciatica/shingles. Did not have to sign any paperwork. The only time I had to sign paperwork was with workers comp when they gave me vicoden. It might be a contract. when I was going to the pain clinic, you had to sign a contract saying that you would not go to any other doctors for pain meds. that's the only thing I can think of. I take Ultram too and have never had to sign anything. Linda My hubby takes Ultram for fibro. He didn't sign anything. I have signed a pain med agreement for a RA doc one time. Just butt covering with the DEA. Some doctors are really afraid to pass out pain meds even when patient is really hurting big time. I didn't think about it til now, but do you think it is because I am bipolar? My orthopedic in the same office never made me sign for anything,no one in the emergency room made me sign for pain meds, and my gp has never had me sign a thing either. If I find out it is because I am bipolar I am gonna get VERY pissed.I will ask for sure when I go by the reheumtys office tom.I'll have the gossip by 10:00.
